For more information on how to register for the Ice Sculpting Competition, visit our Rules & Guidelines page. First Place-$2,500; Second Place-$1,500; Third Place-$1,000. PLUS! The First Place winner will receive an additional $1,000 bonus and complete one more piece de resistance at the park!

A festive and friendly bazaar in Santa's homeland, with approximately 35 area vendors selling wood crafts, Christmas ornaments, jewelry, art prints, North Pole imprinted items (t-shirts, hats, etc.) and much more! CHRISTMAS IN ICE - OPENING DAY!
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5 - 9:00AM-11:00PM (next to Santa Claus House)
Opening Day has arrived! This day is FULL of activities for the whole family! This year we have included more ice and more fun! There will be an ice maze and a total of FOUR large ice slides! The webcams will be up and running, so make sure you stop and say hi to Mom!

The Ice Sculpting Competition begins early in the morning and continues throughout the day. Come and watch the carving in action and see how ice art takes shape! The process itself is amazing and incredible!

New Year's Eve Fireworks

Good viewing from North Pole Plaza Mall parking lot and surrounding areas. Considered one of the area's most spectacular shows, this awesome display is provided to the community compliments of Gorilla Fireworks, Budget Fireworks, and Santa's Fireworks! Bring the kids and enjoy the show!

ICE SCULPTING COMPETITION-DAY 2
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6 - 7:00AM-3:00PM
Day 2 of the Ice Sculpting Competition begins early this morning and will wrap up at 3:00PM. The Artists must have their sculptures completed and their designated areas ready for the Judges.
The Judging will be from 3:00PM to 6:00PM. Thank you to the North Pole Grange and North Pole Arts Society for providing your expertise!

The scheduled MC is Micah Johnson from Fox 7/Ch.13 News and a NPHS Graduate.
Our featured speaker is Kayla Thompson also from Fox 7/Ch.13 and a NPHS Graduate. TOPIC: The Spirit of Christmas!
Symbolic candle lighting, community awards, crowning of new North Pole King and Queen, live entertainment, sing-along, and refreshments!

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6 - 6:00PM - (Center of the Christmas in Ice Park)
This beautiful, tall spruce tree is live, and will be lit with close to 10,000 LED lights to light up the Holiday season and kick off the Christmas In Ice competition and events. Some say they can see it from space!
ICE COMPETITION AWARDS CEREMONY
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6 - 6:30PM
Finally the results are in! Be present to celebrate and congratulate this year's winners on a job WELL DONE! Much work goes into these incredible feats of ice, and all deserve deep acknowledgments. The prizes will be given to the First, Second, and Third place winners. The First place winner will be given a second opportunity to create with an additional bonus of $1,000!
- SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5 - 11:00AM-2:00PM --- Letters to Santa: Bring the kids and give them one last chance to write their letter to Santa, and then decorate them to give them that special touch! Then bring those letters over to Santa Claus House to have them personally delivered!
- SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12 - 11:00AM-2:00PM --- Christmas Ornaments: What a wonderful tradition...making your own Christmas Tree Ornaments!
- SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19 - 11:00-2:00PM --- Christmas Cookies: Yum! And, ooohhh, how pretty and sparkley! What more is there to say!
- SATURDAY, DECEMBER 26 - 11:00AM-2:00PM --- Graham Cracker Houses: Not to be confused with the famous gingerbread houses... these will only withstand the test of time... if you are not overly tempted to eat it before you get home!
